I just came across a great video featuring sound designer Diego Stocco, who assembled a new instrument that he calls Bassoforte. Now, this guy didn’t just build a guitar with a slightly cooler than average finish or a drum with an extra noisemaker taped to the bottom head. I guarantee the Bassoforte is like nothing you’ve seen before!

Bill Mendello, CEO of Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, had announced his retirement about a week ago. Certainly big news, but we’d all been waiting for his replacement to be announced to the public. Today, Fender revealed that Larry Thomas, a long-time Guitar Center employee and Chairman & CEO from 1996-2004, will take over the reigns of one of the most-respected guitar companies in the world.
If you think the TC Electronic PolyTune tuner is badass, you’re right. It is. If you don’t feel like dropping $100 on yet another guitar tuner, I can’t blame you.
